On Thursday I was delighted to be able to accompany the Nursery on their trip to Perrygrove Railway.

After a snack we boarded the steam train up to Oakiron Station where we alighted for a play in the park. When we had all had a chance to climb, swing and slide we made our return journey to Perrygrove Station.

We all played on the treetop adventure playground with many of the children summoning up the courage to travel down the speedy silver tunnel slide!

After a picnic in the dappled shade the children and staff played in the miniature houses. They were spotted emerging from fireplaces, ovens and appearing on the balcony. It was great fun!

After a final trip on the train we all boarded the coach, tired and happy, ready to have a little nap on the journey home.
