Due to the pandemic, the schools’ last in person Higher Education, Gap and Careers Convention took place in 2019

This year’s Higher Education, Gap and Careers Convention at Haberdashers’ Monmouth Schools will take place on Tuesday 28th June from 6pm.
The event, for Years 9 to 13, is being held in the Sports Hall at Monmouth Schools Sports Club, Hadnock Road.
More than 50 organisations have signed up to attend so far, including representatives from fields such as: Armed Forces, Civil Engineering, Commercial Aviation, Law, Clinical and Educational Psychology, Cyber Security, Medicine, and Property Management.
Universities attending include: Bath, Exeter and UCL.
Gap Year organisations include a ski instructor academy and a cookery school.
The schools would be very interested to hear from parents or former pupils willing to represent their profession at the convention and talk to students and their parents about their role and career journey.
