As part of their Geography focus on conservation Year 6 worked in pairs to come up with ideas for encouraging wildlife into our playground.

We had some very interesting suggestions including planting Buddleia bushes and fruit trees to create a butterfly garden, digging out a pond area for newts and frogs, piling up dead logs to create a large home for bugs and creepy crawlies and a special area for hedgehogs, perhaps with cat food on their menu!
