After two pre-season training sessions the Senior and U15 lacrosse teams kicked off the year at the Sherborne Super 8s tournament this weekend.

Players from the Senior squad were assigned to one of two teams; Serve and Obey. Both won their opening game before having to play each other. 1st team coach Miss Scott remained tight-lipped with just one instruction given; a draw would not be help either team later on in the tournament. With Obey coming out on top and both teams remaining unbeaten throughout the day it was a 1st and 2nd place finish for the HMSG players.

The U15s were put to the test early on and after 60 minutes of play had blown off the summer cobwebs to finish 4th.
