Generations and Geraniums

June 8, 2015

We have enjoyed learning about each other’s ancestors this week. Girls have been presenting individual talks on their family trees, which they have researched during their history lessons.

It has been fascinating to learn about different generations of families from the Victorian times right up to the present day. Thanks to parents and grandparents for assisting with all their research, including providing photographs. All the Year 6 girls were involved in a rounders match at Red Maids’ School on Wednesday. Our three teams played extremely well and all games were closely contested.

Generations and GeraniumsMeanwhile, inspired by the work of William Morris and his love of nature, 6C spent their art lesson outdoors in the sunshine, drawing and painting the beautiful flowers and leaves growing in our fantastic Year 6 garden area.
