This week Year 4 had an unexpected encounter with Prince Escalus in the market place in Verona!

He came in just as the Montagues and the Capulets were fighting (again!). As the week progressed, the girls were taken aback once more when Juliet paid a desperate yet excited visit to the girls in role as the Nurse. She revealed that her true love is Romeo and asked the Nurse for her help! The girls advised Juliet soundly but turned to their diaries to record the event. We are now busy writing letters in character and are developing our persuasive writing skills. What a week!
