This week, Year 3 have been busy using rulers and tape measures to investigate length. They have been learning about the relationship between m, cm and mm.

Eisteddfod is looming and the girls have been extremely creative, planning and writing their Welsh Fables for this year’s competition. Thank you for all the support at home in ensuring that they were ready for their craft work this week which has also involved detailed planning and preparation. We have been very impressed with all the entries and the final judging will be a very difficult task for our senior school staff.

In science, girls were challenged to make Moon landers using a given set of materials. The winning design in 3G was created by Alice and Millie (Photo), whose vehicle landed safely without injuring the astronauts.
