This week years 3 and 4 played their first Hockey matches of the year against Bristol’s Red Maids Junior School.

Over 100 Inglefield girls took part and met the challenge of putting the skills they’ve learnt in games lessons into action. Mrs Rossiter, Inglefield sports teacher said “It can be quite daunting playing in a match but I was really impressed with how our girls played, even our Year 3s weren’t afraid to tackle!” Petra, in Year 3 said: “The tackling was the best bit”. Lucy, also Year 3 told us that the experience was “epic”. Clementine and Milly in Year 4 said: “It was really fun, awesome!” There will be many more matches awaiting these girls and I’m sure they’ll just get stronger and better at playing. Well done everyone!
