The Vikings are at it again; raiding our shores and stealing our gold! We’re only joking of course! However, some girls in Year 4 have been putting their computer programming skills to the test in order to create a short animation of the Viking Raids. Their Sprites; a grisly Viking, an innocent monk and a large pot of gold, were commanded to move about the screen telling the story of the 973AD raids on Lindisfarne – all through the use of algorithms and computing commands. An impressive use of our developing programming skills to retell one of the most famous raids in history!

Now, with the battle finally over, all that’s left is to wish you all an excellent half term from Year 4, as we all head off for a well-earned rest!
