A seven-year-old equestrian rider at Haberdashers’ Monmouth Schools has impressed in a regional competition.
Monmouth School Girls’ Prep pupil, Ffion, rode beautifully to finish fourth in her section at the National Schools Equestrian Association (NSEA) Grassroots Show Jumping Regional Finals.
Ffion was among 35 riders in the keenly-contested 40cms class at the Kings Equestrian Centre in Herefordshire on Sunday 8th December.
It was a wonderful achievement for Ffion, who had booked her place in the finals after coming second out of 32 riders in the qualifying event at the same venue earlier this year.
