Year 6 have been helping out at Reading Club this week. This fantastic club is not just about reading, although we do plenty of that. It’s all about listening to the story, talking about it and sometimes even acting it out. Reading Club is specifically for Year 3 to help us develop a love of books, so that we want to read and listen to stories.

This week we took advantage of the warm and dry weather and had our Reading Club outside!

Our Year 6 guest story tellers Hope, Izzy, Issy and Carys selected books to read and joined us outside. Hope read “Rock Penguins” to Hannah and Connie, Izzy read to Coco, Rosie and Ffion, and Issy read to Lucy, Matilda and Elizabeth. Thank you to our Year 6 readers, we loved your choice of stories!
