Puppets tell the story of Christmas

December 14, 2015

Puppets tell the story of ChristmasOn Tuesday, we had a couple of special visitors who came and performed a puppet show for us. These people were from a company called: Christmas on the Line.

They used puppets to tell the girls of Inglefield House a story showing us what Christmas was really all about. Lots of people think Christmas is about presents, decorations, money and food (especially chocolate and sprouts!) but it is actually about the birth of Jesus, the light of the world and the hope he brings.

While the story had an important message it was also lots of fun and we all laughed out loud and sang along during the show, especially the Year 3s! We asked Alicia from Year 5 what her favourite bit of the show was and she said “I liked the bit where all the animals were singing songs, and the angels of course!”
