Summer 2018 Week 4: 18/5/2018

Summer Term – Week 4

The pupils have once again sailed through week of varied activities and have thrown themselves into every opportunity. Year 4 excelled on their residential trip but we are very glad to have them back. I was granted a lovely day of rest on Wednesday when our mini-Head for the day, Isabella, took over the school. Luckily she ignored all the staff requests for an extra day off and sent them back to work – phew! Our wildlife quiz team allowed me to discover Magor Marsh and I can highly recommend a walk round there with a ranger. We learnt so much about British flora and fauna in a lovely location. The week finished with Royal wedding celebrations and a tour by two new Governors. One was heard to remark that Inglefield House had changed a lot since her daughter was a pupil – in a great way! Busy, buzzy, energetic!
