Summer 2017 Week 2: 5/5/2017

Summer Term – Week 2

It might have been a short week but it was still action packed! I visited the fabulous Science Fair early this week and was bowled over by the range of ideas Year 6 and Prep 4 from The Grange had chosen to investigate. The standard was very high in presentations, artwork and investigation and I learnt a lot! Thanks goes to Dr Murcott and Dr Wall for all their effort in planning and helping the children to deliver such an impressive event.

Much fun and enjoyment has been in evidence this week. I do love seeing the girls race past my window as they embark on a quest set by their teachers. Full use is being made of our outdoor space as the learning goes outside and a lot of chalk has been used on the playground which has been serving as a giant exercise book.

Thank you to all those girls who have helped on Open Morning. Prospective parents often can’t believe that the girls haven’t had extensive tour training. We do give them a suggested route to ease congestion, but that’s as far as we go; Inglefield girls have plenty to say and the confidence to say it. Job done!
