Lent Term – Week 4
The main assembly this week featured slices of bread stuck together with Velcro which came apart with a very pleasing sound. There was, of course, a message involved so do ask your daughter about that and see if what we were trying to convey resonated with her. I was delighted to be helped in assembly by Georgina in 4P who took to the front of the hall very confidently to tell us about ANZAC day. I know 4P was very pleased later in the day as she had brought in several treats to show her form how the day is celebrated in Australia.
Year 6 is revving up to their entrance assessment. They are preparing well and being sensible about the challenge ahead. Lots of sleep this week along with fresh air and a variety of activities and they will be on top form next Saturday.
Several girls have been catching up on their rest this week after a full programme of sporting events last weekend. All did their school proud and the swimmers came away from the ISA National Finals at the Olympic Park with a clutch of bronze medals between them. Well done Inglefish!
