The newly refurbished Sports Hall was officially opened by the Lord Moynihan – an alumnus of Monmouth School – on Friday 4th December. There was a big ceremony for the unveiling and now there is a plaque on the wall that commemorates the occasion.

6P were lucky enough to get to climb the brand new wall during the presentation ceremony and now we are all in love with it! There were also some senior school girls there who represent the school, their regions and even Wales in different sports. Miss Pledger told the Inglefield Bulletin, “It was an excellent display of sport from Inglefield through to the Sixth Form, and Lord Moynihan was very impressed with the level of athleticism on display. The Inglefield girls attempted many different levels of difficulty on the new wall, with many reaching the top; soon they will be attempting the overhangs!”
