Year 5 girls enjoyed a creative day participating in two different workshops, learning and applying new techniques to construct sculptures using both wire and paper.
They were fascinated to watch Peter Partington, artist in residence, who gave the girls lots of practical advice about sketching birds. The sculpture garden allowed the girls to enjoy the sunny weather, whilst also appreciating the variety of materials which can be used to create imaginative pieces of artwork.
