Over the last week girls at Inglefield House began their inter house sports competitions.

Last week Year 4 had hockey, with Imbert Terry emerging victorious. On Thursday they then endured their cross country run in the rain, and everyone came back smiling! “The run was really fun! But when we ran the mud was spraying all up our backs as we went!” Isobel from Year 4 told the Inglefield Bulletin.

On Monday 16th November it was the Year 5s turn to play in their house hockey matches. During the competition there was everything to play for and some tough games to be won. Mather Jackson came in 4th with five points. There was a joint 2nd place with nine points between Prosser and Bagnall Oakeley. Imbert Terry took the lead with a fantastic win of thirteen points. Sadly an Imbert player, Savannah, was injured and ended up in a sling, but don’t worry she’s getting better every day! We asked some of the players how they felt about the matches as they came off of the pitch: “It was really fun and I enjoyed it a lot!” said one player. “I had a great time and I really loved it!”
