Geography Day at Inglefield House

June 10, 2014

Inglefield House pupils enjoyed a busy, entertaining and inspiring day learning about different countries as they journeyed around the world.

The girls visited New Zealand to learn the haka dance, honed their football skills in Argentina, discovered their Chinese zodiac sign, learned a Congolese song, and made Matroyshka dolls in Russia, origami in Japan, and Venetian masks in Italy.  They were able to sample a variety of foods from around the world including feta cheese, prawn crackers and pain au chocolat.  They plotted their travels on a map inside their own passport.

There was a creatively colourful array of costumes, with prizes awarded for the most creative.  Even the teachers dressed up!
