In a tense and exciting finale, the 1st VII secured the Wye Valley League title for the fourth time since the league started back in 2006.
Going into their final game, they had to beat Usk Netball Club to prevent Monmouth Netball Club from taking the title. An exceptional battle took place, with the lead consistently changing hands, but a final excellent quarter and a gritty team performance ensured a 32-25 victory. This left them 1 point clear at the top of the table and the league title against a teams from Monmouth, Usk, Ross, Lydney and Chepstow. A fantastic and thoroughly deserved win for captain Bella, Holly, Poppy, Alison, Tess, Becky, Evie and Emanuella.
