‘We’re all ears’ for Children in Need

November 15, 2019

Fundraising for Children in Need 2019 has got off to a flying start at Monmouth School for Girls, with a week-long sale of Pudsey Ear headbands to raise money for the charity.

Year 10 students have been selling the novelty teddy ears at break and lunchtimes in the Atrium and around the school in readiness for Children in Need Day. Musical performances and cake sales are also planned, as well as a special non-uniform day.

The students said the sale of the teddy ear headbands had been going “really well” and that they were looking forward to taking part in the charity day.

Miss Johnson, C4L Charity Co-ordinator, said: “All proceeds go directly to the Charity, to help the lives of around half a million disadvantaged children and young people in the UK every single year.

“We are very grateful to the whole school community for supporting this worthwhile appeal. ”
