Boarders from Monmouth School for Girls and Monmouth School for Boys hit the waves in Porthcawl recently, as part of a fun-filled surfing activity programme.

The much-anticipated day out was enjoyed by everyone who took part – even new Head of Boarding, Mr Peace.

Speaking about the activity, Assistant House Parent Emanuella said: “What a WAVE to start the term! It was Porthcool!”

She added: “It was a wonderful, fun-filled day. The students didn’t let anything stop them and everyone gave it a good go.”
