Riders’ super results are cause to jump for joy

Equestrian enthusiasts celebrated some fantastic results over the weekend.

The Haberdashers’ Monmouth School (HMS) teams won all the classes from 70cms to 90cms, and came second in the 1m class. It was a very competitive day, and the Haberdashers’ Schools were one of 18 schools from Herefordshire, Shropshire, Powys, and Monmouthshire who had sent teams and individuals to qualify for the County Finals.

The following HMS teams and individuals have qualified for the finals, which will be held in April at Bury Farm:

70cms Teams 80cms Teams
1st – Bibi, Lloyd, Tommy, Jessica

4th – Ellie, Jenny, Bibi

1st – Holly, Bronwen, Charly

 

90cms Teams 1m Teams
1st – Bronwen, Poppy, Alice, Molly

5th – Holly, Charly, Flora

2nd – Georgie, Molly, Alice, Poppy

 

70cms Individuals 80cms Individuals
1st – Bibi

3rd – Lloyd

4th – Ellie

2nd – Holly

3rd – Charly

6th – Bronwen

 

90cms Individuals 1m Individuals
1st – Bronwen 6th – Poppy

 

1.10m Individuals
1st – Georgie (riding Kiwi)

2nd – Georgie (riding La Liga)

In the 65cms class (non-qualifier), Bibi came 1st, and Megan came 4th.
