Lotte has picked to play for Wales Under-15s

Nine pupils at Monmouth School for Girls are celebrating after being selected for Cricket Wales’ junior squads for the coming season.

Lotte has been picked to play for Wales Under-15s, while Grace, Sophie, Emily and Carys have been chosen for Wales Under-13s.

There is also recognition for Ellie, Meghan, Jess and Bella, who have been named in the Wales Under-12 Development Squad.

It is wonderful to see the students picked for the girls’ squads and their selection is testament to their hard work, commitment and dedication to the sport.

Mr Callum Bassett-Jones, Mr Steve James and Mr Andy Jones coached the girls at school during the winter programme.
