“Really great fun!”

This was how pupils described the recent Sixth Form Quiz and Curry Night, which was attended by over 100 pupils from the new Co-educational Sixth Form.

Held at Monmouth School for Girls, the hugely successful evening was organised by Year 13 and hosted by Year 12 students from both Monmouth School for Girls and Monmouth School for Boys.

The aim of the event was to have fun and foster new friendships. The Quiz consisted of a variety of rounds, which saw mixed teams compete for the winning prize of a big box of chocolates.

Pupil Caitlin, a Year 13 student who helped to host the evening, described the event as “really good fun!”

She added: “The aim of the Quiz Night was to allow pupils from both schools to get to know each other in an informal setting. It went really well.”
