An eclectic concert from young musicians in Monmouth, who performed pieces from Handel, ABBA and The Greatest Showman, has raised £325.49 for charity.
Organised by Monmouth School for Girls’ Music Department, the concert featured solo performances by vocalists Ella and Georgia, pianist Jocelyn, and violinist Mererid.
A flute ensemble, junior and senior choirs, strings and winds orchestras shone at the event in aid of Music in Hospitals & Care (MiHC).
The concert included musicians from Monmouth School for Boys and Monmouth School Girls’ Prep.
MiHC is a national charity which brings live music sessions to people who are receiving care or treatment in healthcare settings.
