On the 27th of February Year 11, Monmouth School boys and HMSG girls joined together to attend ‘Music, Magic and Mocktails!’ a new social event in the calendar held at HMSG.  The night started at 6:30pm with a selection of non-alcoholic cocktails which allowed the boys and girls to have a chat before they sat down for dinner.  The food served included a wide range of delicious main courses and desserts resulting in many pupils returning for seconds.  To add to the evening a magician entertained students at their tables and presented many mind-boggling magic tricks that were certainly a most confusing highlight to the evening!  Crochez Moi, a talented band made up of  Monmouth School pupils and winners of Monmouth’s Got Talent performed in the main hall from 8:00 till 9:30pm.  The band were fantastic and were happy to take requests!  The evening’s entertainment also came in the form of a photo booth, where a large selection of glasses, scarves, hats and other accessories meant that the girls and boys were able to have some very funny pictures taken that will definitely remind them of the great night had by all!
