On Wednesday 1st July, HMSG welcomed students from Kosei Girls’ School in Japan for a second consecutive year.  Year 10 girls were the perfect hosts and gave the Japanese visitors a real insight into life in a British girls’ school.  After tours of the school and some lessons, HMSG girls were treated to some demonstrations of Japanese culture.  These included origami, a chopstick game, sampling Japanese snacks, an explanation of Manga characters and a card game that the Japanese students had made themselves.

The visit was a huge success and after taking many photographs and exchanging gifts, the Kosei girls departed for the Cotswolds.

We very much look forward to welcoming the school again next year.
