Year 7 & 8 House Lacrosse

The Year 7&8 house lacrosse matches were held on Tuesday the 10th February after school.

The first matches were Imbert vs Mather and Prosser vs Bagnall. Imbert beat Mather 6-1; Bagnall beat Prosser 3-1.

In the following games Imbert beat Bagnall 5-0 and Mather beat Prosser 5-2. The final games were Bagnall vs Mather and Imbert vs Prosser; Bagnall won 3-0 and Imbert won 2-1. Imberts were therefore unbeaten!

The final results were: Imbert 1st, Bagnall 2nd, Mather 3rd, and Prosser 4th

Well done to everyone who took part; amazing play and all in good spirit!

 

 

House Badminton

On Friday, 6th February, we held our third annual House Badminton Competition and it was noticed that the standard of play had much improved upon previous years.  This was probably due to increased practice time for those attending this year’s new Friday evening Badminton Club, run by Mr Lewis and Mrs Davies.  It is a great opportunity for those girls who don’t play other sports to take part in a house sporting event.  Each match was played in good spirit and very closely fought, but by far the strongest pair was the Bagnall A team, who won all of their games.
