salvage-huntersAn historic girls’ school is set to be the star of TV show Salvage Hunters tonight.

Haberdashers’ Monmouth School for Girls will appear on an episode of the popular Quest TV programme, which follows antique dealer Drew Pritchard in his hunt for treasure across the UK.

The expert made a couple of big purchases at HMSG when filming back in November.

He said: “We’re in a remarkably beautiful location and we found just what you want to find when you go to a school – good quality and big quantity.”

Over the last 20 years, Drew’s business has gone from strength to strength and, along with stocking his dedicated area in London’s luxury department store Liberty, he is helping renowned chef Marco Pierre White to kit out a new restaurant in Singapore.

HMSG’s Headmistress Caroline Pascoe will appear in the episode, due to air on Wednesday, May 20, at 9pm, showing Drew around the School and talking to him about its history.

Tune in to see which gems Drew purchased from the School.
