Two HMSG teams took part in the Junior Schools’ Challenge at Hereford Cathedral School.

Both teams played very well. HMSG A Team beat Llandaff Cathedral School, Hereford B Team and Howells School to reach the final against Monmouth School.

After a very closely contested 30 minutes of general knowledge questions, the girls were the victors with a nail biting win of 390 to 380 points.

This was a very satisfying victory on International Women’s Day as the girls had to pitch their knowledge against predominantly all boys teams.

They will now go on to the Inter-Regional competition.
