Pupils from HMSG and Monmouth School enjoyed hosting German partners for their return visit to Monmouth prior to half term.

Haberdashers’ pupils had visited Nuremberg during the autumn half term, where they enjoyed an interesting and educational exchange programme.  During the 10 days in Monmouth, German pupils were able to explore some of the cultural and historical aspects of Wales with visits to Big Pit, St Fagan’s, Cardiff and Monmouth’s Shire Hall, as well as attending lessons at both schools.

On the last evening German and British pupils along with the host families took to the dance floor for a Ceilidh at the Blake Theatre, which brought a very successful exchange visit to a laughter and fun-filled final celebration.
