Future Problem Solvers

February 24, 2015

IMG_0204wOn Friday 13th February five Year 8 girls travelled to Queen Elizabeth Hospital School in Bristol to compete in the Future Problem Solving UK National Finals. All girls performed extremely well with Carys, Jena, Stephanie and Emily competing as a team while Elin bravely competed in the individual category.  All girls used the Future Problem Solving skills they had gained throughout the year to follow a six step process to provide potential solutions to the chosen problem of propaganda. Carys summed up the day by saying, ‘We were very pleased with ourselves as this was our very first time in the competition. I’m very proud of my team because we tried extremely hard and completed all sections in plenty of time. It’s been a really good day!’ Girls await the results of the competition which should be revealed in a few weeks.
