A group of Year 10 pupils at Monmouth School for Girls visit the Elderly Social Circle at Bridges Centre every Thursday during their lunch-time.

The girls are compassionate and patient with the group – running bingo, puzzles, quizzes and singing – and are now planning a Christmas party for them.

The school has been involved in the project for five years and the girls and the elderly have formed some strong friendships.
