Charity begins in boarding

November 10, 2015

Charity begins in boarding 1Augusta House girls have been involved in a U3A initiative helping older members of the community to get to grips with new technology.  The girls thoroughly enjoyed the time they spent and we hope to continue to attend sessions over the coming months. (above)

The girls continue to raise money for other charities.  This term, one of our chosen charities is The Little Princess Trust who supply wigs for children suffering hair loss due to treatment for cancer.  Following a visit to Cadbury World, a very large bar of chocolate was raffled and almost £30 was given by the girls.  Annabel was presented the award by Amara who organised the raffle.

Augusta girls also contributed £50 to the Britain Neal Medical Trust which continues to help victims of the Nepalese earthquake.
