A former student at Monmouth School for Girls is proving that hard work and dedication certainly pays off.

Alumna, Carys Flew, is studying for her Master’s in International Relations in Historical Perspective at Utrecht University in The Netherlands.

A student at Haberdashers’ Monmouth Schools from 2009 to 2016, Carys graduated from the University of Edinburgh in the summer, having achieved a first class honours degree in History.
She was also awarded the Elliot Prize and the CS Pennel Prize.

The former recognises exceptional achievement in a History dissertation and the latter is jointly awarded to students within the School of History, Classics and Archaeology who have performed to an outstanding level in their final year.
