Georgina recently competed in her first international equestrian event at Weston Park with her horse, ‘Spirit’, and finished third of all British combinations!  Of her phenomenal success, she writes:

“I had an absolutely phenomenal time at Weston Park CCIP* competing in my first International Event.  Spirit did a lovely test which was very consistent throughout, gaining some of our top marks under FEI Marking which put us into 7th place after dressage.

“The next day the little pocket rocket showed exactly why she is so good at what she does by doing the most amazing Cross Country round, completely eating up the track and letting nothing get in our way. This was by far the largest track we had done together and for her to make it feel so easy was amazing as she skipped round going clear inside the time. This moved us up into 5th place overnight ahead of European riders, combinations and ponies. 

“I let the nerves get to me, unfortunately, in the Show Jumping round, resulting in a tap of a pole which dropped us one place to 6th overall. We were also the 3rd best British combination which is an amazing achievement!!”
