Saturday 9th May saw 15 girls represent HMSG in an aquathlon, hosted by The Downs, Malvern College.  The race entailed a 100m swim followed immediately by an 800m hill run, where changing into shoes and running vests was part of the race!

The U11 girls started the racing and an excellent display of guts and determination ensured every girl was placed high in the field of over 50 competitors.  Congratulations to Bea, Missy, Erin, Eleanor, Luella, Eirlina, Antonia and Erin B.

The U13 event was closely contested and Ellie was awarded 2nd place following a superb swim-run combination, by the narrowest of margins.  Year 7 Lucy came 3rd, and can be pleased she has another year in the age group.  Other excellent performances from Sinead, Maya, Eva, Hattie and Nel ensured HMSG were highly placed throughout the competition.
