Alice is ‘Breath-taking’ as Cosette

April 1, 2014

Alice (Year 12) auditioned for the role of Cosette, in Les Miserables, back in August 2013, competing against girls from across the South Wales stage schools.   The show, produced by the Mark Jermin Stage School, was performed in The Gwyn Hall in Neath from the 5th to 8th March, playing to a full house and standing ovations every night.  The South Wales Evening Post wrote in their review that “it was on par with the West End” and in their four-page photographic supplement described the show as “Breath-taking”.  Alice had a mention stating that she brought great emotion to the role.  A significant achievement.
