Thank you for your interest in Monmouth School for Girls. Here in Admissions, our aim is to make the transition to a new school as smooth as possible. We understand how important choosing the right school for your child is and we are here to assist you every step of the way.
In light of the recent Covid-19 related government guidelines, please rest assured that we are still continuing with our admissions journeys remotely. We would be delighted to arrange virtual meetings with our Heads of schools and Admissions Registrars at your request. Please feel free to get touch with our Admissions Registrars if you have any questions or concerns.
We have multiple entry points for girls applying to join us and we welcome applications throughout the year. Early application is encouraged to avoid disappointment at our key entry points, however, we tailor the admissions process where possible to accommodate you as a family.
We are able to conduct meetings via Skype or Zoom and entrance assessments can be sat remotely, if required, by prior arrangement. We are always here at the end of an email or telephone to help and guide you through your admissions journey.
We look forward to hearing from you and to telling you more about what our schools can offer you and your daughter.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, we are may not always be able to welcome visitors to the school. We still believe it important to offer opportunities for you to explore all aspects of life at Haberdashers’ Monmouth Schools and have moved much of our open events online. Please do take a look at our Virtual tour and our Virtual Open events.
A registration form, available either from the Admissions Registrar or by clicking here, is usually completed by the parents before the end of February in the year of admission and returned to the school, together with a registration fee to cover administrative costs
The Admissions Team arrange open events each year for prospective pupils and their parents to visit the school. These are deliberately chosen to be during term time so that you can see the school in action and be guided round by current pupils who will give you a pupil’s viewpoint. Individual visits can be arranged at other times if the dates are not convenient for you.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, we have organised virtual open events. These virtual events are a wonderful opportunity for you to discover what it is like to be a pupil with us and get a glimpse into the many opportunities across our family of schools.
