A level students receive Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary degree offers

Talented students at Haberdashers’ Monmouth Schools have been offered the opportunity to study Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary degrees at leading universities.

Focus and determination have paid off for the Sixth Form students who are stepping up their revision to secure their offers.

Four boys and four girls have received offers to read Medicine.

Two students have had an offer to read Dentistry, while two have received an offer to study Veterinary Medicine.

Old Monmothian, Joshua Kershaw, has accepted an offer to read Veterinary Medicine at the University of Cambridge.

And fellow Old Monmothian, Oliver Jones, has been given an unconditional offer to read Medicine.

The clever cohort are reaping the benefits of their own hard work and the first-class support from the schools’ specialist medical tutors, Miss Emma Barson, Miss Linda Woodburn and Mrs Dawn Clarke.

Harry: Medicine at Anglia Ruskin University.

Nathan: Medicine at Cardiff University.

Owain: Medicine at Cardiff University.

Jerome: Medicine in Hong Kong.

Alex: Dental Surgery at the University of Plymouth.

Current pupils at Monmouth School for Girls, who have received offers:

Caitlin: Medicine at Newcastle University.

Elan: Medicine at Newcastle University.

Faisa: Medicine at Cardiff University.

Eleanor: Medicine at the University of Birmingham.

Taya: Dentistry at Cardiff University.

Cherry: Veterinary Medicine at the Royal Veterinary College in London.

Kelly: Veterinary Medicine at the University of Surrey.
