A talented athlete at Monmouth Prep School has won a gold medal for East Wales.
Elliott, aged 11, sparkled at the Welsh Athletics Junior Indoor Open in Cardiff.
The Year 6 pupil, who competed in the 800m, stormed to first place in the East Wales competition and took third overall.
