Eight cricketers at Monmouth School for Girls will be gaining representative honours in the new season.
It is an exciting time for cricket at the school. The school continues to work closely with coaches from Monmouth School for Boys, named for a third successive year in The Cricketer Schools Guide, which includes the top 100 senior schools for cricket in the UK.
Year 12 student, Sophia, who is hoping to become a professional player, has been picked for Wales Women, Wales Under-18 girls and the Western Storm Regional Academy.
Year 10, student, Lotte, and Carys, from Year 9, have been picked for Wales Under-15s girls.
Carys is also a member of the Glamorgan Ladies Academy.
Year 8 trio Sophie, Jessica and Meghan have been selected for Wales Under-13s girls.
Emily, from Year 9, has been picked for East Wales senior girls and Year 7 pupil, Helena, for Herefordshire Under-12s girls.
