Eight rugby players at Monmouth School for Boys have lifted the Gwent Youth District Cup with Abergavenny Youth RFC.
Shay, Joe, Fin, Harry, George, Harri, Logan and Tommy were part of the Abergavenny Youth team who recorded a 27-15 win against Ebbw Vale Youth in the final at Blackwood.
Having beaten Pontypool United 31-19 in the semi-final, when George scored one and Tommy two tries, the boys went into the final full of confidence.
After a tough and bruising encounter with Ebbw Vale, Abergavenny emerged victorious, retaining the Gwent Youth Cup.
Headmaster of Monmouth School for Boys, Mr Simon Dorman, said: “Congratulations to all our boys for their big contribution towards winning this silverware with Abergavenny and for signing off their rugby season in style.”
