Members of the Eco club got a new spring in their step on Tuesday when they visited Barton Hill Farm.
Although we were disappointed not to have witnessed any lambs being born during the trip, we still had a fantastic afternoon, with incredible weather.

The girls had a great experience learning all about the sheep and lambing from our expert guide. We even got to cuddle a newborn lamb, under the watchful eye of its mum of course!
Time was also spent in the woodland area, identifying different trees and meeting the other animals that live on the farm.
The girls’ received compliments on their exemplary behaviour and we have already been invited to return next year. We can’t wait!
