A Monmouth schoolboy has been interviewed by Radio 1 Breakfast this week about his wonderful work with hedgehogs.

Dylan spoke to host Greg James and the interview was broadcast on BBC Radio 1 on Tuesday 14th December.

The Year 10 pupil is Monmouth’s hedgehog champion and is aiming to reduce the number of injuries suffered by hedgehogs from gardening activities.

This autumn, Dylan, a pupil at Monmouth School for Boys, delivered first-class advice on looking after, and caring, for hedgehogs, at the first ACE Monmouth Climate Future Festival

Last summer, Dylan continued to work hard on his project, contacting manufacturers as part of his campaign and completed four hedgehog rescues, including one in Redbrook.
