A daredevil pupil at Monmouth School for Girls has taken the plunge in memory of her nanny.
Cerys, from Year 11, and her father, Jonathan, are raising money for St David’s Hospice Care (Gwent and South Powys).
Cerys performed a skydive above Swansea – almost five years to the day that her nanny died.
Cerys’ father, Jonathan, who also performed a skydive, said: “We want to thank St David’s Hospice Care, a wonderful charity that stepped in when my mother needed them most.
“Without them, my mother would not have passed away peacefully, in her own home, surrounded by her loving family. We cannot thank St David’s Hospice Care enough.”
