Claire heads for pastures new after 19 years’ outstanding service

A popular, warm and valued member of staff at Haberdashers’ Monmouth Schools is heading for the great outdoors after 19 years’ outstanding service.
Miss Claire Howes will be leaving her office in the William Jones Building for the final time later today (Friday 14th October) after supporting four Headmasters in her role as the Head’s PA at Monmouth School for Boys.
Miss Howes joined the school in October 2003 having worked in blue chip companies and education.
She quickly established herself as a competent, reliable, hardworking, and professional member of the administration team at the school.
Miss Howes has developed an excellent rapport with colleagues and many parents over the years. She will be missed.
Not wanting to follow convention, Miss Howes will be moving on to follow one of her passions in life – to work in the great outdoors,
Miss Howes will be pursuing a career in horticulture and garden design and giving up her warm office for a life outdoors; all her friends and colleagues wish her the very best in her new job.
