This week both Prep IV classes visited the Monmouthshire Regimental Museum. After a fascinating talk from a serving soldier about the Great War and the lessons the modern army have learnt from it, the boys were able to look around the museum tracing the history of the regiment from its foundation in 1539, making it the senior reserve unit in the British Army, to its present day role.
