In order to consolidate their learning on classification and evolution, Prep IV went on a science trip this
week to the animal management department of Hartpury College, near Gloucester. Here they saw a
wide range of animals, from meerkats to wallabies. They then handled some of the animals including
spiders, snakes and hermit crabs. After lunch they had a tour around the Hartpury College rugby academy and watched Gloucester RFC train. Shay was heard to say, “This is the best day of my life!”
